Took out the BMW K100 yesterday .It was a cool day and I like this bike in cool climate.Have not ridden it since manner again in June or early July .It makes a lot of warmth so it isn’t a very good trip for summer season until one is touring.Appears after I’m going 70 mph down the freeway the warmth simply will get blown away however round city it is brutal.. On my trip in direction of the east I made a decision to cease in to see my outdated pal Tony who gave me this bike.Have not seen him in fairly a while so it was good to spend an hour simply catching up.It appears he has an issue together with his Moto Guzzi .He has a flat rear tire and the bike is out east at a home he owns there for a 12 months now.He tells me nobody will repair it for him,they declare it is too outdated and bla bla bla.It is a 1997 ! He instructed me this mechanic was telling him he must take the rear drive unit out to get the wheel off.What an fool this man is.It is really easy to dismount the rear wheel from the bike to repair so I instructed him I’ll exit with him and pull the wheel so he can take it in for a brand new tire then return and remount it on the bike.It actually amazes me how dumbed down folks have change into . This man is meant to be a bike mechanic and might’t even determine methods to take away the wheel on a shaft drive bike . Tony was glad to see his outdated BMW .When he gave it to me it has useless on arrival.It hadn’t been run in 15 years or so and was saved with gas within the tank.
