Our visitor on Episode 57 of the Rider Journal Insider Podcast is Tim Card, the Visionary of the 12 months for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In 2017, on the age of 40 and within the prime of his life, Card was identified with a uncommon, aggressive type of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Card is a household man with 5 youngsters, and he was the proprietor of a CrossFit fitness center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. When his most cancers proved to be unresponsive to chemotherapy, Card underwent an experimental remedy, and a 12 months after his prognosis, he was in remission and stays cancer-free. Card labored arduous to rebuild his power and return to regular life, and a few 12 months in the past he realized to experience a motorbike. On March 23, Card launched into his first-ever cross-country bike experience on a personalized BMW R 18 to boost cash for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
