Thanks for the reply wim, however I am nonetheless a bit confused after simply wanting on the documentation that got here with my bike. The Carbon street body set up information (my body solely has a carbon fork, seat submit, and seat stays and alu body) states that the beneficial torque for S-Works Tarmac Carbon seat submit clamps is 95 inch/lbf. For the Roubaix carbon spherical seat tube clamps beneficial torque is 45 inch/lbs.

whole n00b right here however what is the distinction between a seat submit clamp and a seat tube clamp or is that simply specialised being inconsistent?

The second sheet states that normal spherical clamps and transition aero clamps require 45 in/lbf (5 Nm) and that they suggest 95 in/lbf for the wedge type seat submit clamps for spherical posts.

does the wedge clamp actually require that rather more torque? sorry if these questions appear apparent however I am a complete n00b right here…
