So how does this machine maintain as much as the 790 platform, a step down in KTM’s orange ranks?

Brilliantly – a whopping 20% enhance in rotating mass over the KTM 790 platform offers  “stability and reassurance by means of corners, the knock management and 46 mm twin Dell’Orto throttle our bodies guaranteeing optimum momentum.”

Gas consumption is nice, too, at 4.6 liters/100 km.

In fact, no Austrian bike can be full with out a candy set of journey modes and electronics. For the 890 SMT, KTM’s given us three normal journey modes with an elective 10-level TRACK setting becoming a member of the Motorbike Traction Management (MTC), Cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS.
