Gravel bike with street tires?

I’ve two wheelsets for my gravel bike – 28s on one, 40s on the opposite. I’ve a couple of different street bikes, however do often experience the gravel bike in avenue type for sure rides, e.g., slower, extra informal rides, in-town “doughnut experience”, and so forth.

My gravel bike is all carbon, mild(ish) at 18lbs., and so forth., It is a good bike. However, it is nonetheless not a street bike. The longer wheelbase, extra upright place, wider bar… I did not count on to really feel the distinction, however I do. It isn’t a deal-breaker.
