Forrest Minchinton is an efficient dude; a stylin’ SoCal cat who was raised within the Wild West of the Mojave Desert and has carved out a reputation for himself as each a surfboard shaper and filth bike racer. Today, the itinerant American just about simply travels the world indulging in each, taking part in Deus ambassador-of-steez and starring in a bunch of cool short- and feature-length movies – comparable to Painted in Mud and the acclaimed The Desert Stated Dance – alongside the way in which.
We first met Forrest again in 2019, when he took up our invitation to have a crack on the Transmoto 12-Hour whereas he and some associates had been in Oz for a few weeks. And from then on, the affable Californian has made an annual pilgrimage to Australia, browsing and using his manner up and down the east coast, with Queensland’s Sunshine Coast evolving as his strongest coastal magnet.
So, a few months again, when Forrest informed us he was heading again to Oz, it made good sense for us to hook him up with a few of Transmoto’s associates up on the Sunshine Coast – Husky ambassador and a number of Aussie and world champ, Jemma Wilson; Younger Henry’s Qld Statesman, Kris Kempnich; and TrailBound Moto’s Luke Czajkowsky.
“A couple of of us had already deliberate a cool journey for Kempy’s birthday with the TrailBound Moto crew, so issues lined up completely for Forrest to hitch us for a day aboard a TrailBound Husky,” explains Jemma Wilson. “We had single lane, rain, hills, creeks, views, mates, Husqvarnas and a beer baron’s birthday.
