Aleix Espargaró undergoes surgical procedure
Following fatigue in his proper forearm, which occurred through the current MotoGP exams at Portimao, Aprilia Racing rider Aleix Espargaró underwent a sequence of exams earlier this week on the Dexeus College Clinic in Barcelona.
The checks revealed a fibrosis within the muscle for which a surgery was crucial.
The cleansing operation, carried out in a single day, was largely profitable and can enable the rider to get well in view of the primary race of the season, scheduled for the weekend of 24-26 March.

“Aleix Espargaró underwent surgical procedure on his proper forearm, as a result of a fibrotic retraction of the forearm fascia with compression of the median nerve within the proximal third of the forearm.
“An antebrachial fasciotomy and an arch launch of the pronator teres muscle was carried out utilizing microsurgical methods. He’ll begin his restoration as quickly as tomorrow”.
